Throughout 2020, HSBC continued to embark on its retail digital transformation across Australia. Two new premium branches in South Yarra and Brisbane were opened in December 2020, with Design to Production closely involved in their digital executions.
A defining feature of HSBC’s premium branches is the use of fine-pitched LED digital signage. The South Yarra branch features a 6-metre long LED bulkhead behind the customer service “Quick Bar”, while the Brisbane branch incorporates a 6.5 metre x 1.5 metre LED wall in the customer waiting lounge. Both screens are 3mm in pitch delivering a high-resolution output ideal for immersive digital content.
