Wayfinding was the challenge when SA Health embarked on the state’s largest ever building project with the Royal Adelaide Hospital. 15 wheelchair-friendly wayfinding kiosks were deployed for visitors to search and be guided to their destination via animated directions.

Patients register their arrival by scanning barcoded appointment letters, or swiping their Medicare or Department of Veteran Affairs Card. A numbered ticket is then printed with the patient’s appointment time with an option to opt-in for an SMS alert when their appointment is ready.
