Design to Production were engaged by Diadem to manufacture the interactive wayfinders in the newly commissioned Star Casino.
The wayfinders were initially designed by wayfinding and signage specialists Büro North. Design to Production had to work closely with all parties involved to develop new manufacturing techniques and re-engineer components to ensure this project was not only delivered on time but also within budget.
The design allows for ease of cleaning and maintenance, with all hardware accessible with a unique sliding mechanism that has no visible fixings or locking mechanisms.
The wayfinders are superbly finished and the attention to detail in the construction is second to none – with the units look right at home sitting outside the Gucci store at The Star.
As with any such kiosk, ventilation is paramount. The tight constraints of the enclosure required an efficient cooling system and Design to Production achieved this without compromising on the beautiful lines of the exterior.
